There’s nothing higher than coming residence to a pet who’s overjoyed to see you after an extended, arduous day at work. Besides possibly coming residence to them after an extended, arduous 12 months in house.
After spending a record-breaking 328 days in house, the longest single spaceflight by a lady, NASA astronaut Christina Koch formally returned to Earth on Feb. 6. And on Thursday, she took to Twitter to share a video of the joyous second that she was reunited along with her canine, LBD, who had clearly been eagerly awaiting her arrival.
Within the candy clip, LBD, which stands for Little Brown Canine, will be seen pawing on the closed door and wagging her tail as Koch and her husband strategy. But it surely’s not till Koch’s husband opens the door that the fact of her mother’s return appears to actually set in for LBD and she or he reaches a body-flailing, face-licking, happy-barking stage of pleasure.
“Undecided who was extra excited,” Koch captioned the video. “Glad she remembers me after a 12 months!”
